I do a lot of different hypnosis CDs with a variety of topics such as self-esteem, relationships, good health etc. The habit of being able to think positively and get relaxed help a lot--not just the topic selected. However if you are going after a more topic oriented title, one of my favorite hypnotist, Glenn Harrold has one on tinnitus. He also has some titles that are specifically for children. Some of my CDs include relaxation techniques--it is good to try a variety. You will have your own favorites:) You can google up Glen Harrold and listen to samples online as you can we many such products. I have done some exposure with some of his CDs although not by design. Some of his CDs include imitation breathing sounds that are supposed to be relaxing but was one of my triggers so yes I found adjusting to that exposure to be very helpful. It does not bother me anymore and before it ranged from a moderate level of bothering me to the point where sometimes I could not listen to certain CDs!

Sonya, Would you mind saying whether you also use a tape or what kind of hypnosis you do?

Also, question for both Diane and Sonya, does your hypnosis session include "imagining" exposures to your triggers and/or muscle relaxation techniques?

Thank You

Yes--I think it could from what I remember from the clip that I listened. It is general enough to be applicable to 4S.

Hi Sonya,

I too am a big fan of Glenn Harrold and noticed his tinnitus cd. Do you think this would help with 4S as tinnitus is quite a different (though related) problem?

Thanks x
