I recently came across a " recipe " for a lip balm claiming SPF factor. The

ingredients and ratios are pretty standard except for the addition of titanium

dioxide, which it claimed was an opacifier (sp?) and added an SPF to the lip

balm. I can't say that I put much stock in the idea. The balm itself is okay,

but I omitted the TD to avoid a possible claim. Would there be an SPF claim if

I had put it in?

Thank you.
