Good evening.

Starting on February 11th, in Tampa, the Joint Select Committee on Medicaid Reform will hear public testimony on the Governors Medicaid Modernization Proposal.

The Florida Developmental Disabilities Council (FDDC) encourages the citizens of Florida to attend these meetings, particularly individuals who will be affected by changes in Medicaid and cuts in the Medically Needy Program.

There are many questions and concerns about these changes and it is important for Medicaid beneficiaries who have a developmental disability and/or their family members to let the legislators listed below know how important Medicaid is now and in the future.

We have identified a form that simplifies this very complicated issue so that individuals and their families who are not familiar with the jargon can organize their thoughts and questions. You can download and read this form by clicking here.
