Welcome :o)!!!!!!!

It's up to you. As little as 3-4 times a week will yield results. Make sure

you've done the instructional until you're comfortable with the moves and

don't worry if it's all you do for the first few weeks. You don't want to

risk injury by advancing too fast. Then once you're comfortable, ease into

the basics and then work your way up to the advanced. Everyone moves on at

their own pace. Some have done Tae-Bo for years and only do the basics.

Others, only the advanced. I like to mix it up and do both basics and

advanced.

That's great that they were able to find it early enough and that you didn't

have to go through any type of chemo or treatments. Pray for negative

Hi Sandie,

I went for a body scan (routine) and a suspcious mass was found. It

turned out that I had a large tumor that was malignant but it had not

begun to spread. They said they were able to get all of it and I

didn't even have to have chemo or any type of treaments. I was in

the hospital for a week and left with only pain pills for a few

days. I have done great and I feel good. I have to go in annually

for special bloodwork and check ups. I feel so blessed because I

didn't have any symptoms at all. I was exercising and several weeks

into a weight lifting program and felt great. I had no idea that I

had cancer. The doctor told me that when it begun to spread, (and

that it would have) it would have spread to my liver and I would have

been terminal. So I am thankful.

Thank you for asking,

:)

Oops - I missed your post....

Welcome to the group! I'm a 30 year old mother of three - trying to get

back in shape after my latest who is 18 months old.

I'm actually a new member too. Only been around about two weeks. So for

this group has been Wonderful with lots of info and support. (thanks guys)

Feel free to jump in. Are you going to try and get in on one of the Summer

Challenges? Let me see...there's the Summer 100 (100 workouts from June 1st

to Aug 31st), then the 64oz of Water a Day Challenge, and the 5-A-Day (or

9-A-Day) fruit and vege Challenge.

Me personally, I'm doing the 100 and the 9-A-Day. I'm a few days behind on

my workouts (finally started this morning - my toddler's been sick and

keeping me up at night) but got to do one this morning! (woo hoo)

Sorry for prattling on so...Welcome to the group!

Hey Mark, welcome to the group. Lot of knowledgable people here. It is

a good group to hook up with.

Don't get to hard on yourself for the backsliding. It will only get in

the way of what you need to accomplish. It is what it is.

So what are your specific goals for this Challenge?

Good luck to you!

Welcome aboard, Mark! Good to have you; this is the place for you to

feel comfortable asking your questions, sharing your challenges (and

your triumphs--because you WILL have SUCCESSES), and asking for

support when you feel you need it most.

You know, it's been studied that the more times you actually try to do

something (eg--exercise, quit smoking, give up food as an addiction,

etc.), the higher your likelihood of success. So, just by committing

to the BFL process one more time, your likelihood of success is

already greater than any of your other prior attempts!

Let us know how we can best support you. Good luck on Monday!

I never knew this. Very interesting. Perhaps it has to do with

knowing what made you quit last time and feeling you can overcome it

this time around. I am glad I saw this because one of my biggest

obstacles to the BFL is feeling I might not finish and then never

trying it again. Thanks.

Hey Machelle. thanx for the welcome. I am startin tomorrow and

really excited. I havent actually got all my goals down yet but will

tomorrow morning when i do all my meaurements before karate class in

fat, gaining confidence and being ready for my newborn baby in

september. I want to be the best husband I can be for my wonderful

wife as well. I will post tomorrow when i have a little more time.

Thanx again for the welcome.

Hi Guillaume and welcome!!

It looks like you have made fantastic progress on BFL! Great job!!

Traveling while trying to stick to a diet has to be very difficult. It

is enough of a challenge doing it from home, so I give you alot of

credit for doing so well.
