I just opened a bill for 1,000 dollars from the university from the summer before last when my blood work shifted right, and I contracted thrush in my mouth and throat. The ass hole doctor took one look in there, said I dont see anything, she did a strep test and it came back negative. I could barely swallow. They discharged me with a diagnosis of " sore throat " . By that afternoon, my throat had bloomed, and it looked like popcorn in there. I couldnt swallow- I went to an urgent care facility, and they were shocked that the ER turned me away with no definative DX. Later I found that the doctor had written some choice lies in my chart. I am going to have to raise some hell now, and get all of this cleared up, but I am only going to pay them 5 dollars a month if I pay anything at all. He had moved from one clinic to another. I decided when I found out what he had done that I wanted a different doctor. So, I went to the clinic he had practiced in formerly. They had somehow gotten my records from the first doctor, and refused to see me until I signed a release of information for the false records they already had. All this, while they knew the doctor was a drug addict himself which is why they fired him from their clinic. Guest guest Posted February 28, 2010 Report Share Posted February 28, 2010 bobby ,can they wait that long to bill you??? thats seems crazy you did say the summer before last right. i would tell them you will get it the summer after next since it took this long to bill me. this same thing or at least it sounds it to me, happened to bobby glenn last year..right about this time of year, he couldnt swallow,couldnt hardly speak, he was scared and in terrable pain, he thought it was infection from the scope they had done in dec. they found no strep, nothing but they had to force the tongue depresser to even see past the swelling.gave him liquid hydrocodone, even though they was told he had liver didease and sent us home. then this yr. ,well last in oct. dr. riccio found a hernia in his throat.has him on gerd med. i think it was caused from the acid,but i am not sure. i know it was an er bill for no diagnose though,i feel if my tax dollars put you thru school, i come to you and you cant find out whats wrong why the heck should i pay you, i am willing to pay half, they should eat the rest. when bobby had the tumor removed from his neck several yrs. back, it was the size of a hardball the dr. said after he got it out, it was pressing on his spinal colum, no cancer but it had to go. anyways,the first surgeon we saw, waited 2 hours in the waiting room, cauky fool walks in...doesnt even touch bobby glenn nor look at his neck ..nothing, has the mri in his hand, says I DONT KNOW WHAT THIS IS MR. MORRIS BUT I AM NOT TOUCHING IT,i suggest you go to the spinal center in lv. It is milk chocolate, though... can't get it in white chocolate. Husband came down with a very bad cold. He is on antibiotics now that has me quite worried...but he has to take them. Just holding my breath till he gets through this. With all his medical problems...everything is always a turmoil to try to do anything that may help him. He belongs in a Bubble. They used to put him in the hospital right away...now, they try to keep him out of the germ, bacterial/virus infected place. No win, either way. Even though my cirrhosis isn't very advanced, it has already affected my protal vein and therefore causes blood to back up into my spleen and causes it to be enlarged. At my most recent exam, the doctor did indicate my spleen was a bit larger than last July and my liver was a bit smaller, which he says is normal for advancing cirrhosis when your portal vein is involved. > > > Hmmmmm. You can't change entries. That leads to fraud. I never was any good at typing until I took a course on our first computer Haven't seen those light bulbs but hope they are better than the curlicue ones which make it impossible for me to see things clearly. About 15 years ago a neighbor gave us an old encylopedia set. The word computer wasn't even in it. It think the publishing date was 1943, Granted it is a different world. But as far as technology is concerned, would you want to go back. I know I wouldn't want to wash my clothes in my mother's old wringer washer, even she got rid of that, and rinse them by hand, hang on line to dry? I like my cell phone better than the old hand crank one we had when I was little, don't like to hand wash dishes, wish they would find a way to take them out of the dishwasher and put them back on the shelf or in the drawers. And, even though we leave our A/C on 82, I wouldn't be living here in the summer without it. My daughter used to call me an old fogie who wore old fogie clothes and had an old fogie hair style. Now her daughter says the same to her. Love it. Payback. And, I get to talk to my granddaughter online. Couldn't do that if we went back either. But, I would like to go back to the value system we had then. I don't think anyone forced women to go to work outside the home and I don't think it was economically necessary. Women went to work enmass during WWII because it was their way of helping with the war effort. The income was nice, so they decided to stay after the men came home. Thus, we have the introduction of the two income family. Families bought things they wanted, not what they needed. As more and more things were purchased, that second income became more and more necessary. We could go back to one income families in a week right now. It would just mean having our needs supplied, not our wants. Ok, off my soapbox now! Many hugs...............
