Good Morning,

I think I read on this list that someone was testing a version of this.?? I

can't find the message in the archives. Does anyone remember, Angie, Maurice?

Thanks,

Hi and Maurice and All,

Quick message back...today is my baby daughter's 18th birthday, so we are

having a little celebration soon!

I actually have a couple of manufacturers, but my primary concern, which

should be a concern of any reseller or repackager is around the shelflife of any

type of vitamin A product---they are all very fragile and subject to oxidation

very quickly. If not packaged properly, they will be rendered useless and the

supplier and consumer will be spending lots of money for nothing. The

recommendation of the manufacturer is to package under nitrogen in a lined

aluminum

bottle and keep cool. How many people are doing that? BASF carries Retistar

(contains retinol) which is pretty decent for shelflife and not quite so

finicky (see data sheets from BASF). But I have some ideas for retinyl

palmitate

and have discussed them with BASF a good bit...but with our recent move just

have not had time to pursue the idea. It's one of those things I plan to do

though ;) With any of the vitamin A products there are some cautions around

usage---I want to look into that more as well.
