Guest guest
Hi Sierra, Since you have Fibromalgia, maybe you can check with the arthritis foundation; http://www.arthritis.org/; I don't know where you live but this is another resource as well, you can look up your local chapter. Classes thru the Arthritis Foundation may be cheaper, I don't know I haven't look in to the aquatics classes yet, but it's just an idea. Hope things work out for you, Take care, LaDonna. --- Sierra Mist wrote: > Hi everyone, > > Does anyone know where I might find a water > exercises class? Guest guest
I have found water exercise classes both through the Y and by requesting brouchures from the community centers around here. I feel truly blessed to have found one that is $54 for 12 weeks (3 days a week at a community center pool. One caution, I started out taking a " Watercise " class at first and because it was in the shallow end. My back pain (DDD, stenosis, bone spurs, facet deterioration, siatica hermiated disk repaired and bulging disks)got much worse from the impact even in the water. I now take " deep water aerobics " and find it much better. If you need floatation devices they have them and there is not impact. The classes helped me tremendously. I hope you find something that works for you. in St. Louis " Sierra Mist " wrote: Does anyone know where I might find a water exercises class? Are they usually at the local Y?
