For those of us who are counting calories, I found this site. If you

print it out, it's 24 pages so be patient. The nutritionist at our

local hospital, a friend, is helping me work out a nutrition plan

that will not aggravate (hopefully) the Dercum's junk. They have

found if you limit calories too strictly, the tumors just grow bigger

and faster, so she's starting me out on 1500 calories a day, lowfat,

no sugar, to see if I can lose weight without a problem.

I noticed this chart, which is alphabetical, even lists brand names.

I'm very new here and haven't come across any posts about this yet. I've checked

various books out of the library and they all say buckwheat is okay on a candida

diet in moderation. I've been bombarded with info the past couple weeks and it's

even more confusing when there are different opinions.

option, but the calorie counts I'm looking up online are all over the place,

from 150 a cup cooked to 700+. Does anyone know a reliable source for accurate

calories counts?

It seems that most mainstream books have diets that are way too liberal to

actually achieve results. Many were also written long ago and are outdated.

Many find that a diet such as the one on my website is the key to success:

Hope that helps..

Hey Debbie, I don't think I have ever noticed the recommended removal of nuts

from the MOVES diet. Is it the carb content or the phytates or what?

Carb content, mold, rancidity among other things. MOVES stands for:

Meat

Oils/Fats

Vegetables

Eggs

Special/Misc

No N for nuts there. :)
