Guest guest
Robbie was asleep. I kissed him and went off to take care of the many jobs I had. I knew Robbie was tired as he had had no nap at all today and we went swimming. Putter and I went to the basement where he played with some cars and Dartie the cat while I tried to find matching socks so that all our clothes would be laid out for Mass tomorrow. I put the clothes, folded up and organized by wearer on the large shelf on our living room bookcase. Such is my habit. Putter came upstairs with me, carrying Dartie the cat. Then I went to tackle the dishes in the kitchen and generally tidy up. As I began I heard a noise that sounded like crying. I asked what the sound was but no one else seemed able to hear it. So I assumed that is was just a television or a cat or something. I continued cleaning up. I walked down the hall where the bedrooms were. Enrique was reading on his bed with a pillow over his head. Sophie had her door shut and was reading in her room. was playing on the computer. Robbie was screaming at the end of the hall. I was upset. " Didn't anyone hear him? " I asked frantically. Enrique said, " Yes, but if I hear things like that I must block them out. " Well, that explained the pillow. Sophie had noticed nothing or at least she admitted to nothing (Wise girl!) -- the computer is in the next room to where Robbie was screaming -- said he had heard nothing. Is that possible? I picked up Robbie who wanted to be nursed back to sleep. I felt a gentle tug on my pajama top. " Poopy! " said Putter in a cheerful voice. GREEEEAAAAAAT! Now I get to change Putter while Robbie screams. Fun, fun, fun. Salli
