I use that too especially when I wake up with a headache. It helps alot.

I have allergies and suffer a lot from sinus problems. Nasalcrom (can now be

bought over the counter) has been a big help for me. It is a nasal spray that

isn't harmful like afrin but also isn't a steroid. I find it to help better

than

the steroids. It keeps the sinuses open and stops the junk from draining down.

I agree with the humidity thing. When I lived back in the midwest where my heat

went all the time I had to have a consol humidifier in my bedroom (had to clean

it a lot so it wouldn't be putting out molds) Now in Calif, this is the first

year (in almost 15) I've had to put a cool mist counter top humidifier in my

bedroom. It's been a very dry year here this year. The doctor has also

recommended a saline solution to spray up the nose he said it helps to keep you

infection free because of the salt I guess and it thins the mucus. I prefer

buying it than making it myself. That's interesting about the infections

happening after tx.

Mikes has sinusitius and his doctor also suggested saline solution and he

seems to fell that it does the trick.
