Guest guest
Hello all I am slowly running out of ingredients and would like to know what oils would I be able to substitute for Behentrimonium Methosulfate & Cetearyl Alcohol? Behentrimonium Methosulfate is derived from colza oil (canola) and used in hair care and other cosmetics as a conditioner and detangler. Q: So would that mean that I can substitute Canola and/or Castor oil for Behentrimonium Methosulfate? Cetearyl Alcohol is added to thicken hair conditioners. It is a plant derived wax. Q: What would be a suitable substitute, pectin, ewax, beeswax? I'm thinking of making a thick hair conditioning detangler. Please do let me know if there is anything I have left out. Thanks in advance for your assistance. Cheers Anita
