Guest guest Posted July 6, 2001 Report Share Posted July 6, 2001 There IS a genetic component to ulcerative colitis (see http://www.ccfa.org/medcentral/library/basic/news0129.htm, for example), so it would not be surprising to see a genetic tie in PSC also. I have not heard of one, however. I am not aware of anyone in my family or relatives that has PSC or UC. Arne 50 - UC 1977 - PSC 2000 Alive and (mostly) well in Minnesota Genetics and PSC? Hi group, This whole possible genetic spin has me worried about my sons. Does anyone have any input or info re PSC and a genetic component? Your help would be appreciated.
