I did soundproofing and double drywall doesn't help. Music such as Pandora with inexpensive speakers in the exam room or ipod works too. I would be surprised if there is a clause in your lease allowing them to move you due to "loud talkers" Ellsworth,MD

We have a similar problem. We moved the radio to hall of the exam rooms instead of the waiting room to muffle sound transmission. We also hung fiber art on the walls instead of pictures because it absorbs more sound. We have an artistic quilt hanging in 1 room. You might have to change your ceiling tiles to something more sound proof if you can or layer insulation above the tiles. The walls go up to the drop-down ceiling. We have a radio playing in the waiting room so that patients waiting there don’t hear what’s going on. But male voices especially seem to carry. Sometimes sitting at the front desk, even with the radio on, I can hear them. I text to Steve “sh” so he knows to try to quiet them. We put patients in every other exam room.
