Guest guest
Jody, one should not be working with lye without wearing a particle mask OSHA number N95 to protect the lungs. I would NEVER us lye in a facial mask for myself...very irritating to the skin. I tried an emulsifyer once that used lye and even at half strength it was not for me. I cannot comment on her recipe though without seeing it and how much lye she is using to emulsify it. Breathing in vapors from either FO or EO all day long can also be damaging to the body and I recomment you switch to a vapor mask for that. Both os these can be found in home building stores like Lowe's. Dee ><((((º>·´¯`·:.· ><((((º>¸¸.·´¯`><((((º> http://www.hpsoapbook.com > On another list,..... posted regarding the potential damage that lye could do to one's lungs if applied as a facial peel (a use I never heard of).
