Guest guest
Boy did I blow my food plan at the end last week!!! Wahhhhhhh! This is no excuse. Just a perspective on my triggers and habituated responses. Last week was a very emotionally impactful week, starting Monday with receiving a very hurtful message from a friend of 20 years and ending with my kitty having a tumor removed Thursday and coming home with an eight inch incision down her back. Friday I planned an evening with my daughter...to see " The Perfect Man " and have some dinner afterwards. By the time 5:00 rolled around, I was wobbly with my convictions to my plan. I ended up popping a Twix Bar in my mouth...an old addiction that I chose to give in to. I had no popcorn or anything at the movies which was good...but then had a veggie burger and homemade french fries and a lemonade for dinner, topped by 4 or 5 bites of an ice cream topped brownie with fudge topping. Thank God it was so rich it made me nauseous so I didn't want it. Saturday was better, even though it was my scheduled free day. Spent the first half of the day with sister Dana Ann...and we actually ate a EFL lunch...Seafood Salad w/Bowtie Pasta. It was excellent! Sunday, I had breakfast with my step-dad which was two scambled eggs and 1 1/2 pieces of Dakota Bread (heavy whole grain bread full of nuts and seeds) with a little fruit spread. But lunch...oh...I can't say it...I ATE WENDY'S!!! A Grilled chicken sandwhich and fries with a Coke (Hubby helped with the fries). So I really blew it! Back up a pound today. Now got to recommit and get my butt back on track. I did pack 5 healthy BFL meals that I have with me here at the office and will make this day count. (I had a protein shake for breakfast) One Day at a time! Kelley Run2Liv
