The last time political discussion broke out, we moderators were split as to what should be done. One moderator suggested that the group would want to talk about what was affecting their lives. Opinions are only feelings and beliefs. Real consequences are not feelings. I would rather step down than tell people that they cannot discuss what is actually affecting them. If you are a livertarian, and belong to the livertarian party, and only believe in livertarianism, that is politics. So far were not discussing politics until someone got thier feeling hurt, and starts throwing partisan bombs. If this happens, please help me out. Don't throw them back. If someone says Senator Gallbladderfossa is a horses ass, and it's all his fault, or Representative Billiary Ductin didnt do anything about it in her 20 years in office, you are then just being political, and partisan. I dont think that politics and partisan attacks belong here on this forum. But if there are things affecting you, it is ok to say so. I think. Think liver disease. However, that does not mean that dislike you as a person and it most certainly does not mean that I don't want you to be here where we can all help each other as we face the horrors of liver disease. I did not mean traitor in the sense of betraying ones country, rather in the sense that so many politicians, both now and in the past, have betrayed the trust of their constituency by ignoring their opinions with regard to the laws they pass. I have lived on all sides of this issue and I have very definite opinions about it. I am not one to sit back while something I feel passionately about is being discussed. Perhaps that is a flaw in me. Whatever the case may be, I'm still very happy that you will be stayiing. Whether we agree or disagree about politics, we have a common enemy in liver disease. Disease and fuses aside, we all genuinely care about each other and that's what counts in the end! Love ya!
