Guest guest
Hi Everyone! : ) I just wrote one of my novels about dry skin and I think I deleted it instead of posting. I hope you don't receive it twice; I will try to recreate the email: I had major dry skin on my legs; mermaid-like actually. I don't know if it was a combination of the 2 things I did but this is what I did and the healing process was slow; but I didn't know I was a diabetic yet so that would explain it. During my waking hours I would put Tea Tree Oil Lotion or ointment on my dry skin. It has a cool sensation when you put it on and helps eliminate some of the itch. I had great experiences in the past with Tea Tree Oil; both the ointment and shampoo since I have psoriasis of the scalp. It healed it and continues to stay under control as long as I remember to use the shampoo a few times a week. Knowing Castor Oil has so many benefits; I tried it on my dry legs at bedtime. I had also noticed that before using anything that helped my dry skin, I would wake up with horrible scratch marks on my legs; apparently I was scratching like crazy during my sleep. So to allow my legs to heal I would pour on some castor oil on the legs and I actually bandaged my legs with a sterile bandage. I still continue to use castor oil every once in a while to keep my legs moist. Soaps and lotions have so many hidden ingredients that were just injuring me more and more. I also try to remember to take my Udo's Choice Perfected Oil Blend on a daily basis. This is an omega 3 and omega 6 essential fatty acid; and amongst other things it helps improve skin and hair. I don't know yet if taking this will interfer with any of my readings; I don't think so since it is considered 'good fat'; but I will be monitoring it closely. Hope these ideas help someone. Good Morning to All! Wanda.
