Occulta is the SB that is covered with skin... and spinal dyphrasism (you think spelling it is bad - I can't pronounce it!) is neurological involvement or damage is combined with SBO. So you can have SBO with no problems, but you can't have Spinal dysprasism without any. Lots of docs don't use the spinal d. diagnosis. Sorry to not get that terribly straight - it's late.
