There would be nothing wrong with doing light cardio on the other

days. As a runner, I try to avoid to hard cardio workouts in a row.

The other days you run at a slower pace and are called recovery days.

Pyramiding your sprints is a good way to change your cardio and will

also make you a faster runner. Intervals in general will make you

faster.
