Guest guest
Hi all, Here is my bit of my experience with sugar. A few years back I was diagnosed with hypoglycemia. For a year I did not eat ANY SUGAR, no refined carbs in any shape or form, no rice, as grain only rye, I snacked every three hours, I carried hard boiled eggs in my purse, limited fruits, limited potatoes... and I cured myself pretty much. After a year of it I started trying a bit of birthday cake (but really a tiny bit) here and there, a fruit, Tbs. of ice cream etc. But I lost a taste for sugars, and the little bit goes a long way with me a lot of things are disgustingly too sweet for me now, so my diet is to say the least very good on the sugar and carbs intake at all times. My vv pain/ burning/itching is pretty noticeable at all times, but I can't say it is RED HOT. Now, at this Easter I had family coming so I did a lot of baking cakes and pastries (normally I never bake) and prepared all kinds of desserts in just one day. The next day we all ate this, I certainly had much, much more of sugar than I normally do. Guess what!!!! My vv was RED HOT, I was itching like crazy, burning like the " hot stove " , I cried from pain, burning and feeling totally hopeless. I spent a lot of time in the bathroom rinsing by vulva with cool water and crying. This went away after one day, and I suppose eliminating sugar from my blood and my symptoms went back to the regular noticeable at all times, but painful to touch on the sides of the vulva. I am a firm believer in sugar concept and actually this experience had me started to think about fungal/yeast as the cause of my problem. Yeast like a sweet environment and it does grow better in sugary " cultures " . This was a good=effective experiment with me as the " sugar free " guinea pig. Bidets, one word on these: in Italy you can find them anywhere, public rest rooms etc. They are the kind, that work like a water fountain, you sit on it, turn on the water and the stream comes right up at your genitals directly from the vertically position faucet. If you want to fill the bowl and " splash " you can. But why? Where is our list member from Italy? Can she confirm this? Anyway I wish I had one at my home in the States, but the bottle with water sound good too, I will have one in my bathroom today. Take care, ttyl Suzanna Suzanna
