Guest guest
I am so sorry for you, but I wanted to let you know that it's not just you that gets the " drug seeker " treatment from the medical community. I have had to move around the country, and have given up on seeing physicians for just that reason. I am currently in remission, but I'm supposed to go every year so they can monitor the joint deterioration and such. But when I introduce myself and my history, including an allergy to NSAIDs, their eyes literally narrow and the communication shuts down. And I'm not even there looking for drugs! I'm there just for a routine annual visit - no prescriptions required. I can't imagine how it's going to go when I start to flare again. (Because I always flare again...sigh.) Well, thanks to your post, I actually can, I guess.
