If the attempts to get counseling/therapy fails, has anyone on this

board tried to confront their borderline mother about their illness?

What happens? more of the denial, the turning it around on us? more

of " the victim " role? more anger? is there EVER a positive result to

confronting them?

She isn't happy with her life. She is depressed, always talking about

the " empty " feeling, and she is pretty miserable. I think she knows

deep down that something is not " right " with her when she is having

one of her more " lucid " moments.

Thanks again for your support. I wish I had known about this illness

years ago and about this board as well
