Guest guest
Oh, Sorry. Yes ,we have another Bob, but he hasnt posted in a while. Sharon and I are medium, thank you for asking. We were invited to attend a church event this morning for my brothers kids, but were not able to go due to pain issues with both of us. We are dealing with some behavorial issues with Ardis' dog, , but I'm sure it is because of the weather, and cabin fever, because we are not able to walk her, and she is an Aussie, and they need a lot of excercize. It has been too cold for her to go outside for the day. Financially, we are hanging by a thread like everyone else, but surviving , Sharon's spine where her neck meets her head unstable now and needs to be fused, it could very well involve surgery through the roof of her mouth, which is very risky, but she is not ready for that yet. Me neither. My platelets were out of range on my labs of last week , low at 136, supposed to be at 150 to 500, which I believe explains my terrible nosebleeds of last week. Really, though-we have no basis to complain, and are enjoying hanging out together all day. Thank you for asking how we are doing, Abijann. Love, Bobby " I will meet your judgement and distance with love and open arms when you come back. Guest guest
You are so right that the present system is basically out of control. I don't like the fact that insurance co. will be making even more because of the mandatory coverage under the new bill. It is also true the previous 8 yrs., with control of all branches in one party's hands, failed to do anything of significance with health care reform.  Why? I am totally in favor of espressing what is on my mind, and everyones.  Dave ________________________________ To: livercirrhosissupport Sent: Sat, April 10, 2010 4:05:03 PM Subject: Re: Bob  Well,Dave... ..you have to admit that things aren't working the way they are going. What happens if your Transplant Center and doctors are not listed and the only insurance you have is through your company? Guest guest
The government has been subsidizing the insurance co. to help with their coverage, i.e. Advantage Plans. They have been receiving money from both ends. The individual and the government. I never could figure how insurance companies pulled that one off on us. Lobbyists and macho deniro, I am sure. The system we now have is in catastrophic broken mode, and we are trying to fix it with itsy bitsy band aides! Love you guys. Just blowing off steam.   Dave ________________________________ To: livercirrhosissupport Sent: Sat, April 10, 2010 4:31:08 PM Subject: RE: Bob  Which will subject you to the donut hole. Guest guest
After posting that amount, 12,000, I searched online, and most sites didn't have a price for it, but the one I did find had a price of about 3500 for 500 mcg injection. I don't know how reliable that was. And I don't know how recent the site was. Jan H > $12,000 a shot? When I got the shots for Aranesp, the clinic charged me > $1500 to $2500 per shot.
