Guest guest
Hmmmmm. Well, I will never be on a transplant list, and he probably knew that when he said it because he told me to find a donor. But, I left him after the first year and haven't really had one since on a full time basis. Have been to transplant center for consultations, and the subject hasn't come up. My cardio does encourage me to get out and do whatever I can so I don't go into a depression. Maybe he just didn't know what he was talking about. But, others here have said they sometimes have to wear masks and watch out for animals. I don't know. As I said, even if he was right, it wasn't worth it to follow what he said. My feeling was I could just as well have died right away if I couldn't do the things I liked to do. I haven't had all the blood work done to check my melf for quite a while, asked for it a month ago, but it wasn't done. Last I checked, i thought it was 16, but not sure that was right. Doesn't really matter with the anemia and kidney problems I am having right now. Why is your spleen enlarged? Guest guest
My hubby is type 2 diabetic as well as having NASH, so we're always looking for decent sugar-free stuff, especially chocolate. Stover makes great sugar-free chocolate candies. Turtles, peanut butter cups, mint patties, etc. We've used Splenda for a couple years now. Still trying to adapt it to many recipes. Some workout great, some not so great. We've also tried Truvia/Stevia. I like it best, but can't find it in bulk yet. Can't see myself standing in the kitchen, opening 50 gajillion packets to use in a recipe that calls for 2 cups of sugar though! But still like the taste of Truvia best. It's all natural sweetener from the Stevia plant. Tastes great and doesn't affect 's blood glucose count. We've also found that Pillsbury is putting out sugar-free/reduced sugar cake, cookie and frosting mixes now. They are fabulous! We try to stay away from 'sweets' in general, but sometimes, ya' just gotta' do it! Hope everyone has a great day. Twila > > Yes, Stover Candy company makes a sugar free > chocolate candy rabbit.
