I believe that salt is salt; so sodium chloride. You could put what kind of

salt in brackets I guess. Man I hope I don't find out I'm wrong. :)

What is the official INCI name for Dead Sea Salt????? I have search

through many listings only to find that it is listed in a few

different ways. I checked the files here but I can't find it or the

file does not open. I currently use " Sodium Chloride " but have had

a customer question the type of salt I'm using because I list Sodium

Chloride. To her this is table salt not Dead Sea Salt. Can I list

it as: Sodium Chloride(Dead Sea Salt)

Regarding Dead Salt:

From all the research that I've done, it is correct to list it as Sodium

Chloride (Dead Sea Salt).

Hope this helps.

Hi!

Dead Sea Salt does have Sodium Chloride, but then it has a host of other

minerals that make it special...

Dead Sea Salt

At 1,290 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest place on earth.

It consists of about 30% salt and other minerals giving it the highest

mineral content of any body of water in the world.

Dead Sea water contains 32% salts with relatively high concentration of

minerals such as magnesium, calcium, lithium, bromide and potassium.

Exposure to Dead Sea water is acclaimed for nourishing the skin, easing

rheumatic discomfort, activating the circulatory system, and relaxing the

nerves.

We have both the Dead Sea Salt and Dead Sea Mud on our salt.

INCI for Dead Sea Salt is " sea salt " .. INCI for Table Salt is " sodium

chloride " .

I don't know if this is helpful or not, but my brother in law buys me Ahava

products from Israel when he is there, and on their ingredients list they

describe Dead Sea Water as (Maris Sal & Aqua). Although I do concur that NaCl

should be NaCl should be NaCl...... :)
