Guest guest
Anyone get Fitness Magazine? There is an article in the new issue called Lessons from Fad Diets. It talks about Atkins, Body For Life, Somersize, Sugar Busters and The Zone. The only thing bad they said about BFL is that the free day wont work cause " You can do a lot of damage caloriewise in 24 hours " I'm curious though, their study showed that women following this program for 8 weeks gained an average of 1.75 pounds of muscle and lose 3.5 pounds of fat? Does that sound about right? I am on my 7th week, have lost 4 pounds but did that the first 4 weeks, nothing since then. Sandy
Guest guest
A lot of times fitness magazines give alot of new ideas for exercises. They are give wonderful receipes and nutrition ideas From: Andy To: bodyforlife@...: Fri, 03 Oct 2003 14:38:27 -0000Subject: Re: Fitness Magazine articleA possible explanation is that your leg muscles are growing under the fat. Eventually I think fat loss in that area will kick in and they will look more shapely.A tape measurement that should almost always go down is your waist.Andy & gt; I'm taking tape measurements, I dont know how to do bodyfat measurement. I can see differences in my muscles so at this point I guess I'm satisfied. Although I would really like to see that scale move. I am concerned however that my leg measurements are going up not down. Since I'm short to begin with, bigger legs is definately not a goal(longer would be wonderful!!! HaHA) I'm sure this will work in the long run, I've just got to stick with it.
