Guest guest
Last week, my husband wrote " dance " on our weekly schedule chalkboard. Now we are NOT dancers...never have been. So I was curious, but he was not telling. Monday night, after things were done for the day and we were settled in, he turned off the TV and put in a CD and said, " let's dance. " Right. Turned out he had made a compilation of soft, slow songs about how he felt about me and the importance I had in his life. Some were new to me and some were old favorites. For the next hour, we just held each other and slow danced in our living room. Each night after, around 9pm, he said, " let's dance " . I don't know where he got the idea, but I cannot even begin to describe the comfort and warmth and confidence that it has brought to me. No matter how rough the day gets, I know now that each night around 9 (when I'm not at work, of course), the one I love most will dance with me and tell me I am the most important person in his world. Try it out with someone you love - a husband or wife, a significant other, a child, a pet...just hold them close and dance. I'd never have believed how much healing it has brought to my heart already. - --------------------------------- Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? Check outnew cars at Yahoo!
