Guest guest
I finally got to see the Neyrosurgeon yesterday!! (FYI, The MRI report states: I have a cyst in the L5-S1 area on the spinal cord. The size of it is 1.5x1.2cm, also that there is hypertrophy & osteophytes) He stated this was the largest cyst he has ever seen. He also stated that he dosent like to do surgery unless necessary. He is unsure if it can be removed or if its attached to any nerves and he would just have to create space in the spinal column for both to exist. He stated he wanted me to -wait another month- and then come see him again. (I have been in horrible pain since April) Questions: 1-Is that size cyst really big? 2-Should I be concerned? 3-Think physical therapy would help? (didnt last time) 4-Why is he making me wait??? Thanks Donna
