Guest guest
Brett, The 460# was done on a smith machine / half cage. Generally, I'll only do over the 300# (which is all of my squats & calf raises) on my smith machine as there is no one in my home to spot me in case I do more oops'es. If I am at a gym on the road, I'll occasionally try just the olympic standard barbell if there is someone to spot me. My balance is GREATLY assisted by the machine path, but the weight is " most certainly " still there. Brett wrote: > I think you told me before, but are your squats on a machine or just the > bar? Guest guest
Just re-reading... Yikes! 10 x 45 x 2 = 900 pounds!!! 600# on the smith machine often feels like it can fold me in half with one little slip up on my 1/2 squats and calf raises. I can't comprehend using 900#. OMG!!! Brett... You da man! ...Who the heck are these buddies? King Kong and the Incredible Hulk? Brett... YOU ARE da man! ...Even though you scare me, sometimes.
