Guest guest Posted December 31, 1999 Report Share Posted December 31, 1999 Okay, I'm out of the hospital... and it only took a temper tantrum to get out. LOL! I got VERY angry with some of the nursing staff, and one particular resident that was working with my Dr's associate. (The resident called me to apologize shortly after I got home.) Suprise! Yes, it was another Cholangitis attack... but I responded very well to the IV antibiotics. My WBC count didn't drop very much, but my liver enzymes dropped quite a bit! My alk-phos went from 221 to 161. Almost normal! Hopefully I am on the way to " remission " again. I'm still a little nauseated, but not nearly as bad as I was last night. I still think that the nausea is the WORST symptom to deal with... it's absolutely miserable. Then again.. when I had the itching, I would say that was worse. Thank you everyone for your prayers, and I'm so very glad that I don't have to watch the ball drop from my hospital bed! Love, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
