Beth,

The Rebif has not given me any flu symptoms.

When I was on Avonex, I couldn’t shake the fever, chills and headache.

Rebif is easier to give and with Tylenol I never have any problems. The only

drawback to Rebif is it sometimes leaves my skin irritated and red. I rotate

spots—thighs, arms, hips and stomach but the skin sometimes still doesn’t

have a chance to bounce back.

I have not any new symptoms since starting

Rebif which is the best part for me….

Hope this helps,

Connie

Connie,

Noted that you take

Rebif. Doc is talking about me starting it.

I looked over their

website. Interested in how others have done – real accounts, not

the endorsed type.

Did you get the flu

symptoms when you started? How has it worked out for you?

Any input would be

appreciated.

Thanks Connie! I go back to the

Neuro on the 9th and want to be prepared.

He wanted to put me on the Rebif back in

October, but I was waiting for one other test that the consulting Neuro had taken

to come back. It came back negative for other non-specified autoimmune disorders,

so we are back to the MS. My deductibles/co-insurances and all have been

met this year, so I am going to try to get them to do another MRI before the

end of December. Last one was in August and was negative. I don’t

know why, but I can’t believe that this is MS until I see something with

my own two eyes on the MRI film. I know that some people don’t get

visible lesions early in the disease, but I shudder to think what will be happening

to me symptom wise when the elusive boogers do pop up on the films. It scares

me.

What do people do when they travel? Doesn’t

the stuff have to be refrigerated? I am planning a trip to sunny place

south in February. If you are taking a plane, will they let you get on

with a small cooler filled with syringes?
