Guest guest
, Since you've only been a member of this group for 3 weeks, I'll just assume that you haven't given Body for Life enough time to work for you. Or maybe you are thinking about trying BFL since it focuses on healthy nutrition? Hopefully, that is the reason you are a member of this group since most people are here to succeed with BFL. I agree that the BFL program can be tweaked and someone that has done it more than 3 times and plateaued should consider some tweaking if they can honestly say they have tried the program by the book. I mostly agree with your statement " No diet works if you don't follow it " . However, we shouldn't think of BFL as a diet. It's more of a nutrition plan for life. To most people diet means a temporary way to lose weight and then go back to how you were eating before. If you are finding that you are hungry with BFL you can always eat a meal sooner. For example if you begin to feel hungry in 2 to 2 1/2 hrs since your last meal, go ahead and eat your next meal. You can eat 2 or 3 hours apart depending on how you feel. You should also ask yourself am I eating the right foods? Am I eating the right amounts? Am I eating the right combinations? Am I eating the right times? Most people can become their own coach and counselor when they regularly ask and answer those questions. I don't think failed at all. After 11 times he had lost 48 lbs! It sounds like he just got off track for whatever reason (he will need to examine this) and that is why he gained weight again. Andy
