First patient portal - what else is needed?

My EMR vendor is getting ready to put out a preliminary version of their first patient portal which will include information on-demand about:Active medicationsActive problemsActive medication allergiesLab ResultsAppointment history and list of upcoming appointmentsPatient communication with office (basically secure email)Demographics verify/updatePerhaps those of you already using a portal could suggest functions missed in the above list that would be nice to include based on your experience. I expect a payment system will come soon after in version 2 so I’m not expecting it right now. Thoughts about your lessons learned as your portal evolved would also be helpful. Just looking for things to be alert to as I review their preliminary version. All suggestions appreciated. Neighbors, MDHuntsville, AL Solo using FlexMedical EMR/Billing since 2/2009
