Guest guest
, I feel a little bad about not posting an update after reading this post. It is wonderful news for Beth. My littlest son is nearly 5 and is classed as severe. He goes to a school for profound and multiple learning difficulties. His school diary is laden with stories about things he has done that surprised them since he started on the enzymes. He has SID and on Monday he did finger painting! Apparently he shook his head at first, then signed 'more' and laughed. This is a real big deal for Ben! He will now join in song times whereas pre enzymes that just was not possible. He is still very, very sound sensitive and still will not wear clothes at home, but at school and out of the house he will keep them on (if I put them on inside out!) He forms attachments to lots of objects that make working with him very difficult as he won't let go. He will now quite happily put all of his 'familiars' in a bag and get on with what he is meant to be doing. All in all, most of his obsessions have diminished massively and we can change task without much trouble. One of the most noticeable recent changes ( since introducing the second Houstini enzyme) is that he is obviously aware the moment he has dirtied his nappy. It doesn't seem a lot but it means one move nearer to toilet training one day even if it is years to come. btw- I saw the consultant yesterday with my AD/HD, celiac son and he was amazed at the change in his behaviour and asked for details of the enzymes (I don't give him peptizide, just the other one) Jacqui [ ] Re: 10 day report on enzymes [Well, I'm excited!] > Beth, Beth, Beth!
