Guest guest
Tracey thank you for your 2 cents worth. To claify, I spoke to the nrsg and he said has the lowest case/form of tethered spinal cord injury. He said is not in the class of spina bifida occulta even though the internist/urologist said that he is in that group of patients. I had to rethink things, I had 6 weeks early, placenta abruption, almost bled to death at my home! Guess because I delievered early his issues were only minor (if you can even say that about him). Anyways, I worked in the dental field until I had to stay at home to cather him in Feb. of this year. I always wondered if he was truly allergic to latex. I use non latex gloves at home just to try and keep things really sterile even though I am using the clean method of cathering. I think something in the hospital during the tethered spinal cord repair touched him for a prolonged period of time to make him react with his full body rash and I dont think the amount of latex i had on me from my work gloves was enough to cause issues with him. Guess time will tell or an allergy test but your reply today was so intersting and very smart! Thank you very much!
