hey guys!

marlee saw her " second opinion " PT today. we really like her current PT, but

marlee is her first SB/TC case and i just wanted someone else to look at her.

she has been dragging her left leg while crawling and curling those toes on the

same side.

suprisingly this PT was less concerned about the leg.....she thought maybe it

seems " tight " to her at times and crawling is the best therapy for that. she

said that marlee has remained (she had the other PT's notes in front of her) on

the low side of normal for meeting her milestones.....she said it looks like

just when you start to wonder " is she going to do it? " she does it! she

couldn't have been more right! she did, however, say that marlee's flexibilty

in her hips, knees and ankles are " beyond the low side of normal " ...boy she

really had marlee all contorted around and she didn't even complain...she had

her leg *almost* backward.....like the knees were on the sides!!! YUCK! she

said it is possible she will need braced....butto go back and forth betweens

shoes and barefoot for now. her left leg and foot are much smaller that the

other as well.....although i know *we* are not symetrical (sp?) what does this

mean?

has anyone else experienced this and if so...what did that do for your gait?

did/would braces help? if so....what kind?

thanks alot!
