I have the scales and I don't think much of them. I don't believe they are all

that

accurate. You have to create a stable set of conditions every time you weigh

yourself,

otherwise the comparisons aren't accurate. I also think they don't take into

account

the additional water stored in muscles. The calipers are hard to use too, but

if you

can figure it out, I think you'll get a better idea of where you are. There are

sites on

the web where you can read a detailed account of how to measure with calipers.

I'm

going to do that and forget my scales.

I have some digital calipers but they don't seem to work right. I

haven't managed to get a reading that I believe to be anywhere near

accurate with them. They always say my BF is 6% and it is not. I

also have manual calipers which I believe to be more accurate.

I haven't used the calipers in a long time. I use the online

calculator for BF at http://davedraper.com/bodyfat-calculator.html
