Clucky Dancing Chicken Woman

I know that exercise is supposed to help deal with stress instead of causing it;

however, I recently joined a neat Zumba dance class and after the first night I

never wanted to come back again. (I find that I often quit things to avoid

trigger noises.) You see, this one lady in the class clucks like a chicken, and

makes other rather interesting noises with her mouth,to keep the beat - or maybe

she really just is part woman part chicken? We dance in a small room and the

instructor always makes us switch places so I can't completely avoid her or all

of the exercising gum chewers - what great multi-taskers dancing and chewing! I

wonder if Clucky Dancing Chicken Woman can cluck, chew gum and dance? I would

actually want to see her try. But back to my story... I really loved the

exercise class so I decided that I would just take my stupid earplugs with me

and wear them, not caring how this looked to others.

Thankfully when I got to class (right on time so that I could stategically place

myself for the beginning routine) I ended up being as far away as I possibly

could from Clucky Woman. Funny thing is that she was near the instructor. About

half way through the class our instructor stopped and cranked up the music, and

I mean CRANKED it up. I felt validated at that moment. Clucky Woman had to be

driving our instructor bonkers, too!

After the class I sent the instructor and e-mail explaining how I have 4S and

how the lady that clucks in class drives me to the point of insanity. I told

her how I was going to go as far as wearing earplugs so I could still partake

instead of quit and that I appreciated when she turned up the music half way

through class. I asked her if it would be possible to always keep the music

that high for future classes.

I hit send and felt relief. I have never done that before. We will see how the

rest of the classes go and the response I get from my instructor.

Also, as an aside, I purchased $2,200 in-ear white-noise generators and they did

not work for me at all. I tried but sent them back less my $450 deposit. I

really hope that some company comes out with wireless earbuds. That would be

perfect for me!

Take care everyone!
