Guest guest
This is a very valid statement. My cardiac specialist told me that if caffeine were not so prevalent it would be regulated as a drug based on how many systems in the body it impacts. The latest studies show it as having an effect on the effectiveness of insulin. Doesn't make me like my Starbucks and less, but it is something to be aware of. Joanne ----- Original Message ----- Personally, I'd say caffeine is a drug no matter what form it is taken in. The body reacts to it one way or another because the active ingredients pass to the body in every form, just like some people get allergic reactions to chamomile flowers blooming, chamomile shampoo and chamomile tea.....the active ingredient is present in all forms. ~
