Guest guest
Dee/All, When I saw Dr. in September I had a raging case of nail fungus. Fingernails and toenails. My big toenails were the worst--they turned completely white. After the antifungal treatments my fingernails are pretty much fungus free. My feet are getting better too. The nail fungus was probably an external symptom of the yeast problem I had. Robin /nail fungus Hi all, I'm wondering how many of US have a nail fungus? I know I do, toe nails and fingernails. But... I also know that when I use pure bleach with a Qtip for about 2 weeks every night. It clears it up. It does take a while to grow out, But it always eventually comes back. *sigh*. Seems to be a fairly common thing with the people I know. Guest guest
I can't believe how many of us have toenail fungus....ugh!! My vaginal itching/burning/irriation started about 5 yrs. ago. Around the same time I had a problem with my thumb nail. The dr. drilled a hole into it & I had to use a cream, which completely cleared it up. Now, its starting on the toes & I never made a connection before. Besides being unsightly, it hurts. I can't put any pressure on that toe now....I'm looking through my health ins. book for a podiatrist in my area. A friend of mine was giving lasimil (sp) for a severe case of nail fungus & after 3 mos. the problem is gone. Wouldn't it be great if I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone here. I'll let you know what the dr. has to tell me, as soon as I can find one. Take care...Diane

Guest guest
5-11-99 I also have nail-fungus, which has been helped a lot by bleach applied with a Q-tip(may have gotten that tip from Dee!), but hasn't disappeared yet. I've read a lot about yeast(candida)in the past year, and this is often one of the manifestations-for what it's worth. Sugar does aggravate the situation, and another thing I've given up is mushrooms, which I loved, but which apparently wreak havoc on those who have problems with fungus. Wine was also bad for this too-fermented and too much sugar-drat. Are we having fun yet? Jeanne jeveronica@... > > >Hi all, >I'm wondering how many of US have a nail fungus?
