Guest guest
There is a series on OCD in the US playing on TV this summer. It is called Obsession (Or maybe Obsessions). It is on a cable channel, but I cannot remember which one. They follow two people with OCD through 12 week course of cognitive behavioral therapy. It is pretty intense. However, they do not seem to be utilizing any kind of medication to change the brain chemistry. Very interesting to watch. It seems to me that those of us with 4S have a similar problem- we react to something and cannot get beyond that particular sound, cannot deal with the reaction to it that our brain is forcing on us. Cognitive behavioral therapy has been discussed here before, as well as meds, they do not seem to work but I think there is a similarity to the behavior perhaps?
