Guest guest
So for the past 2-3 months I have gotten this pain in my hip when I run. It is only slight when I run, but it really is bad at night when I go to bed. It occurs only when I run outside. Due to some running websites, I tried to narrow the problem down. I tried my indoor teadmill shoes, they helped a little but not much. I also tried to slow down as a marathon runner at work said with the greater impact outside may be causing the pain. I slowed so much that I did not sweat the entire 20 minutes, usually I am dripping after 20 minutes. I ran a week ago with my boyfriend and took him on " my route " and he figured it out. The road I ran on was severly crowned and I was running right along the curb to avoid traffic, although I usually only see 1 car the whole time. The height difference that my feet were hitting the pavement was causing it. Weird huh? Now I run right down the middle, I haven't seen the pain in three times now. I switched back to the outdoor shoes and I am back up to my regular pace. I just thought I would share in case any one else has this trouble.
