Surprisingly enough, (for me), I haven't second-guessed myself on this one at

all. I know that what I said and did were justified, and that the reaction and

the insults were unjustified.

Sometimes, when the unsubbing is painful and could be avoided because the person

is hurt and sad, I fight to keep the member -- like I did with you, Penny. But

in this case, the member is just too angry and reactionary to deal with at the

moment, and I don't need to spend all my energy fighting a bitter and ugly

battle to keep them.

Maybe later, when that level of feeling has subsided, they will contact the

list, and then we'll see what's what. But until then, I don't see myself

spending much time worrying about it. I've had no contact with them since the

accusation that I am a dictator; any response to that email will just take me

down a road I really don't want to travel.

Re: never mind

Jacquie --

I know, I already said I have said my last word on the subject but....

" this too shall pass " .

The reason why you started this list is because we are NOT perfect.

We are NOT super-moms and super-dads. It is inevitable that it will

happen that someone will offend, be offended, mis-interpret, and take

things the wrong way.

And...because we are NOT perfect, super-humans, we are eventually

going to break, depending on our circumstances. Personalities are

going to conflict.

I really have no doubt that you and Sissi will work things out in due

time. We will miss her not being here.

Let it be, if you can Jacquie...

There is still 170+ of us.

Penny - who has unsubbed before out of being offended...so I

understand.
