It is my understanding that because of high Beta-Alanine, Taurine is wasted and DPP IV activity is reduced (inhibited). In addition ________ Dr. McCandless, My son's AA test also shows high Beta-alanine as well as taurine although his ammonia wasn't high but he does have bad bacteria in the gut, too.
