Guest guest
Dear everyone, I hope you all had a good Christmas holiday THis is a long shot question, but I am hoping someone may be able to answer. I had a thickened filum detethering in July 2001 and up to now had no unusual sensations above the sacral dimple, in either limbs or spinal cord. MRI is clear, showing no retether, no ACM, no syrinx etc Now, for the last month or so, I have found that my hands (not beyond my wrists) have begun to tingle and cramp up, both sides, at different times, and this is completely unprovoked (i.e. I have not laid on a nerve or crushed my hands/wrists in any way). I don't lose power, but the sensation is really alarming and frightening. Shaking the hands or rubbing the pressure points does not help Can anyone help on this? Could it indicate something developing in the cord higher up than L5? Best wishes Nina ----------------------------------------------------- This mail sent through SilkyMail v1.1.
