Guest guest
Hi Avril, I wanted to post to your questions, but I am not an expert in any way. I give my son a nutritional supplement that contains vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. He does very well on this. It provides some protein in his diet, that he may not get enough of at every meal. The reason to use digestive enzymes also, is because although my son is getting amino acids from his supplement, he is still eating food, as we all do, and that food still needs to be digested. Undigested foods are known to cause all sorts of problems from diarrhea and constipation, to malnutrition, to allergies, and I am sure many other things some others can list. So, I use the supplement with amino acids to get my son some extra protein in his diet, but I also use enzymes to help him digest the food he eats everyday. Hope this clears it up for you.
