Guest guest
Hi, I'll start with the fact that I love music, it has always been a big part of my life. It is my escape when I hate life. I have gone to several concerts this year and have already two booked for next year. At the begining of the year I heard that a big show that was being put together. Forty three artists were going to perform for 3 1/2 hours. They spand my life, 50's 60's and 70's. I went to the concert in Sept. Now one of the artist that performed was someone at my age of ten I wanted to marry. Yes I had it real bad at that age. His name is Lonnie Lee. He is still performing and still very hot. I decided that if he was performing anywhere near me I would see him again. Well on the 21st dec he was singing just down the road from me so I went down there with my daughter. Tara was very taken by him on stage and off stage. I spent about five min. talking to him and had photos taken. He told me that when I can get to his concerts to always make sure I come up to him. By this time I was really in seventh heaven. Now, the day after I sent an email off the his record company. I was going away so didn't check my mail until the 25th and when I did there was a reply to my mail. His promoter told me that Lonnie Lee would be pleased if I got in contact with him and they gave me his email address. This may not seem to big a deal to some. Here was my celebrity childhood love and I can write to him. And yes, my feelings have not lesson over the years. He was living in USA for twenty years and I thought he was still living there. The next time I see him in concert will be in Feb. at a encore for the big concert that I went to this year. I have found lately that I seem to be able to achieve things where music and concerts are concerned. My son is still trying to work out how I got back stage passes to meet Issak and all his band and have photos taken with them. When I go to the big concerts I get vip parking and enter from back stage. If I want tickets they are put under the counter for me to save up the money for them. I am looking forward to hearing from Lonnie lee and seeing him sing again. So my Christmas surprize was being given my childhood love's email address. My daughter is also stoked with all this. She is gaining a love for music and singers from my past. She goes with me to all the concerts. Lonnie Lee was very big in Australia and he also did a lot in America. He received awards from one of the Presidents over there for work he did while living in America. I still find it overwhelming.
