That is very interesting, . I so happy that you have built yourself up enough to start your weight lifting exercises, just remember to take it slow.

Today's tip from Real Age.....

I go into the beginning stages of my weight lifting exercises on April 1st... and last night I happened to add Vitamin C and E supplements to my daily routine.. so it was pretty neat to read this in the morning's mail.... I thought I'd share it.... I think there are a few of us with muscle and endurance issues... it's a good tidbit of info to know....

Are you planning to shift your exercise program into high gear this spring? If so, be sure to get your fair share of vitamins E and C. Research suggests that these two antioxidant vitamins may help speed your muscles' recovery from strenuous exercise. Choose a daily supplement that contains 1,200 milligrams of vitamin C and 400 IU of vitamin E, the RealAge Optimum doses for these nutrients. RealAge Benefit: Getting the right amount of antioxidants through diet or supplements can make your RealAge 6 years younger.

Oh, I'm taking it slow... three full months of stretching and isometrics in preparation.. and the weights won't be much at all.... just baby steps forward.. with a goal of no back steps...
