OT - Nat'l Cheer Championships

Hi all! So, in my never-ending obsession with cheerleading related

things I had to fill you all in on this last weekend's competition.

My d.d.'s cheer team went down to Anaheim for the all-star national

championships and they placed 4th in their division! This is a great

accomplishment, not only because it's a national level competition,

but because her team only had 2.5 months of practice prior to the

comp. The other all-star squads have been practicing for TEN months!

Just imagine how they could have done if they were practicing for as

long as the other teams... *sigh*

Anyway, she's trying out for her high school squad at the end of this

month, although she is still torn over whether to go back to the all-

star squad instead. I will keep you all updated (whether you want to

or not, LOL). My cheer team's season doesn't start until the end of

summer, so I'll have to get my cheer-fix from my daughter's adventures

for now.
