My friend at work took me to lunch for my bday and we went to the St. Louis Bread Company (Panera elsewhere) and before we went, I looked up the nutrition information in advance and saw the Smoked Turkey Breast sandwich looked reasonable. Well, we get there, we are talking and I don't really look at the menu til I order and I see the Sierra turkey sandwich and thinking that was the same sandwich, I ordered it and got a low carb bread to replace the normal bread. Well, I get back at my desk and go to enter the sandwich into fitday so pull up the nutrition information and the Sierra Turkey sandwich has 950 calories!! Ahhhh! With the different bread, it drops down to 810 but still - major ouch. It really sucks cause I was planning on doing my normal low cal day and then having a nice dinner tonight with some small cheats but now I feel like I blew my load on a lunch that I didn't even intend. Arghhhh - how annoying!! So, now I am debating having my 4 o'clock snack or not to try to reduce my calorie load for the day - I guess I will have it but just halve it (1/2 apple and 1/2 cp lf cottage cheese).
